The 2½” Groove Coupler Kit is used to join the grooved end of the Deringer or Magnum Shut Off Valve to a grooved pipe connection. Flexible couplings are intended to accommodate controlled movement at the joint.

A flexible coupling allows the expansion, contraction or deflection from center-line within limits established by the coupling interface with the pipe. Couplings are cast of Ductile Iron meeting ASTM A536 Grade 65-45-12 (tensile-yield-elongation).
